Samsung has proved that they are a big competitor for all mobile phone and gadget companies including Apples iPad. Since producing their first Smartphone, many people in the world have used their product. In 2010, Samsung gave out great news to their users in the world. It was announced that Samsung Galaxy S Froyo update which is also known as updating android 2.2 will be available in Kies software programs. And it was first introduced at Google’s conference in San Francisco. Then it slowly grew in other parts of the world starting from America to Europe. Some features that people were able to get from the update are media hub, new Gmail application, colored icons in setting, GPS fix, android 2.2 JIT compiler and many more. An example of from the android 2.2 feature is the camera that has a new interface. Since it was released, the updates have received many compliments from international markets. The main difference of this update is the android works smoother. No more lagging and stuttering. Therefore people can enjoy working and they don’t have to worry either about their battery. Compared to the old android, android 2.2 ranges from six times faster than before. The new froyo can also support Adobe Flash. Now with the update and all the new features that people have got from the new android (froyo) people will sure enjoy their Samsung galaxy. Even though it is not as famous as iPhone and Nexus, but Samsung Galaxy has proven that is has the same or even better quality. The only disappointment point from this update (froyo) is the timeline. Not all android devices are able to get this update quickly, so it could be quite annoying having to wait for the froyo. Other than this android 2.2 is one of the best in the world.
